The Week Ahead

After watching some cable this morning, I dragged myself to Milagro for lunch and tea. It was sort of nice, sitting there and editing the chapter I presented to group last week, etc. I had just needed to get out. On the way home, I grabbed a pizza. The pizza place is sort of like Subway--they put it together there in front of you, with fresh ingredients, then you take it home and bake it. So I'll have an easy supper tonight. Now I'm working on re-entering edited chapters. But dang, I'm tired, so I don't know how far I'll get. Seems good to be getting at least something done, as work was rather neglected over the last week.

This week could be busy as well, with the cleaning service appointment tomorrow, and now I think I'd best make an appt for dog with a vet, as he has developed a newish lump on his side. It also would not hurt to establish a new doctor out here for him. In addition, when I drove into the garage, I noticed a puddle of muck in the center of the floor. I don't think it was there before, and I checked my oil, which appears to be fine. So, it's probably a good idea to get an appt to have the car checked in case something IS leaking. ::rolls eyes:: Meanwhile, I want to get started on figuring out the possibility of getting some parts of the house repainted and re-floored. The flooring may have to wait till I come back, but we'll see. Depends on moola and how soon I can be fit in for such things. Wish I could just snap my fingers and make it so. This house was not "turn key" when I bought it, but I think it will be worth it.

I'd rather be writing my novel...
