Today was, as anticipated, a mellow rest day. Late this afternoon we met C. and D. at the new house for the smudging. I will note that the laundry basket full of towels and stuff had disappeared. The house got smudged, we got smudged, and so did the dog, then we popped open the champagne and had some fudge and cookies MB had made, all the above being very good. Yhe champagne is from Albuquerque. It is clear the kitchen will make a great gathering spot. Each time I go to the house it feels a little better.
After eating and drinking, we went to Andele's for dinner. This time I had a chile rollano (spelling that wrong). A wonderful convivial evening. We ate on the patio, which is not something I would've wanted to do in Maine tonight.
Tomorrow it looks like we're going to head up to White Sands National Monument, and the gods know what else we'll do!
