Oh man, upset tummy...
So today was the final walk through. The seller, however, was not moved out and cleaned out like he was supposed to be. He was in progress, so we checked the house as it was. My realtor asked if I wanted to go through it again tomorrow morning before closing, but as I am not a hard ass, I said no. The seller seems earnest enough that he will do as he is supposed to. I am not always a good judge of character, but in this case I think I am.
I'm going to get lost in the house. And, I may not be inheriting kitty, I will be inheriting the koi in the koi pond. Plus, various geraniums and a mini-pear tree and about seven pecan trees. Then there is the whole irrigation thing that stymies a born-and-raised northeasterner like me. Interesting times ahead. Apparently one of my new neighbors owns property in Maine...
Hello new life.

I'm glad Kitty found a good home.
Pecan trees are wonderful!
Irrigation is a pain. But no water, no trees. So it's worth it.
Enjoy!
